I hope you enjoy these pictures that I have been taking with my Canon 400d. I am still learning as I go along, but I think I am making some progress. It is nice to know enough to shoot in manual mode.

My passion is taking sports photography and you will find most of those photos over at my cricket club website. I did get the chance to take some tennis shots while at the Davis Cup tie held at Wimbledon.

It is hard to get the chance to take really good sports photos and I have found that I am appreciating the great outdoors more, now I have a camera. I love taking close up shots of flowers and insects. I now have a macro lens and it is great fun. A lovely Christmas present from my wife.

The UK can seem a bit grey and even the leaves on the ground aren't that colourful, but after putting them through Aperture you can pull out some of that colour.

I am still struggling with landscapes and am still waiting to get that really good sunset. I have now split my galleries into years to make them easier to upload and hopefully so I can see improvement as I go along.
